Coca-Cola Santa Claus

Coca-Cola wanted to do something special for a holiday campaign in Athens. We had the honor of partnering with the Greek agency IMDB to create an augmented reality application featuring an animated Santa Claus.

In select shopping malls throughout Athens, Santa appeared on a large screen as soon as a shopper stepped up. We configured the system to use motion sensors that let shoppers interact with the digitally generated Santa.


Using an interactive totem outfitted with a camera and touch screen, shoppers could take a photo with Santa and print the image using the same device. Over the course of the 12-day campaign, shoppers took more than 5,500 photos and generated 300 shares on Facebook.
